Your Voice Matters!

Please take the time to write or contact the USFS and others,  you can make a difference at Alpental!

Below is a list of individuals and organizations to contact regarding the Master Development Plan and  free access to Alpental public land.  Polite, yet strongly worded snail-mail letters, which express your own experiences and opinion work best.  This is an intricate diplomatic process.  The more individuals who are willing to take a stand and express their opinion, the more impact we will have.  Although the official comment period has ended on the DEIS, you can still contact Sean Wetterberg swetterberg@fs.fed.us before the Final Environmental Impact Statement and Record of Decision are made. Booth Creek Ski Holdings Inc. enjoys the privilege of operating on our public land as per their Special Use Permit with the USFS, and Article F, which maintains the public's right to peaceably assemble on these lands and waters.  Contrary to disinformation currently circulating this winter, the upper parking lots and the road to the upper lots are all public land and should be free to the public to use. Please cc letters and responses to freealpental.org if you would like to be considered for publication on this website. Thank you for your help and spread the word.
